Macarons and Tea at Soirette

Macarons and TeaOnce an exclusively French confection, macarons have now been embraced by the Vancouver marketplace. It has been slowly introduced by a select few pastry and tea shops around town (such as the Urban Tea Merchant and later on at Faubourg, the Bel Cafe, and Thierry) as a feature offering. But for those of you who are fans of these sweet confections, you can now savor more than 15 different flavours at Soirette, a macaron and tea specialty boutique off of 1433 W. Pender in Coal Harbour. It’s a sweet little shop that boasts a unique selection of macarons and blends of tea that pair nicely with their tasty treats. Soirette has just expanded seating to a little patio space outside their foot print, just in time for summer.
